Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy – Shreyasi

At Shreyasi, we ship thoughtfully curated sarees and handcrafted pieces across India and internationally. Orders are fulfilled from India or the USA depending on product availability.

Delivery timelines vary based on product type, optional services selected, fulfillment location, and destination country.

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

1. Product Categories & Processing Timelines

A. Ready to Ship Products (Without Optional Services)

These timelines apply when no blouse stitching, saree finishing, or customization is selected.

Processing Time: Up to 10 business days

Delivery After Dispatch within India:
Metro cities: Up to 7 business days  
Non-metro or remote locations: Up to 10 business days

Maximum Total Timeline (India):  
Up to 20 business days from the date of order.

B. Ready to Ship Products (With Optional Services)

If blouse stitching, saree finishing, or other customization services are selected, additional preparation time applies before dispatch.

Optional services add up to 21 additional business days.

Maximum Total Timeline (India with Add-Ons):  
Up to 6 weeks from the date of order.

Selection of optional services constitutes customer acknowledgment of extended processing timelines.

C. Preorder or Made to Order Products (Without Optional Services)

Preorder products are woven or prepared specifically upon order confirmation.

Minimum Processing Time: 4 weeks  
Maximum Processing Time: Up to 12 weeks depending on artisan production schedules.

Exact timelines are mentioned on the respective product page prior to purchase.

Maximum Total Timeline (India):  
Up to 12 weeks from the date of order.

By placing a preorder, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the timeline specified on the product page.

Preorders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

D. Preorder Products (With Optional Services)

If blouse stitching or finishing services are selected for a preorder item, additional preparation time applies after weaving is completed.

Optional services add up to 21 additional business days.

Maximum Total Timeline (Preorder with Add-Ons):  
Up to 16 weeks from the date of order.

Selection of optional services constitutes customer acknowledgment of extended processing timelines.

2. Shipping Within India

Free shipping across India.

Orders may ship from India or the USA depending on availability.

Orders containing items from multiple fulfillment locations may ship separately.

Tracking details are shared via email or WhatsApp once the order is dispatched.

3. International Shipping

International orders may be fulfilled from India or the USA depending on product availability.

Orders containing items from multiple locations may ship separately.

Processing timelines follow the product category selected above.

Estimated Delivery After Dispatch:

USA: 5 to 8 business days  
Canada: 7 to 14 business days  
United Kingdom: 10 to 21 business days

Delivery timelines may vary due to customs clearance procedures and courier operations.

4. Customs Duties & Import Taxes

Customs duties, VAT, or import taxes imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

These charges are not included in product or shipping prices.

Shreyasi does not control customs assessments. Courier partners may contact customers directly for clearance.

5. Order Tracking

Tracking details will be shared once the order is dispatched.

For split shipments, tracking details will be shared separately for each package.

Tracking availability depends on the courier partner and destination.

6. Delivery Delays

All timelines provided are maximum estimates.

Delays may occur due to:

Weather conditions  
Courier or airline delays  
Customs inspections  
Festival or peak season volumes  
Remote area accessibility

Shreyasi cannot be held liable for delays caused by third-party logistics providers.

7. Returns & Refunds

Due to the handcrafted and made-to-order nature of our products, returns are accepted only under limited circumstances.

Return requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery.

Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with tags and packaging intact.

Returns must be approved by Shreyasi before the item is shipped back.

Refunds will be processed only after the returned item is received and inspected.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

Blouses stitched using customer measurements  
Sarees with blouse stitching or finishing services completed  
Customized or altered products  
Preorder or made-to-order items once production has started

Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of measurements submitted for blouse stitching.

9. Shipping Charges for Returns

Shipping charges paid during checkout are non-refundable.

If a return is approved, the customer is responsible for arranging and covering return shipping costs to the Shreyasi return address.

Shreyasi is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during return transit.

10. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If a customer receives a damaged or incorrect item, they must contact Shreyasi within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the product and packaging.

Once verified, Shreyasi will provide instructions for resolution which may include replacement, repair, or refund.

11. Refused Deliveries

If an international order is refused by the customer or returned due to unpaid customs duties or taxes, the original shipping charges and any return shipping costs incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.

12. Policy Acceptance

By placing an order with Shreyasi, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy.
