We operate this website and online store, and provide all related content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”) to offer you a curated shopping experience. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

By visiting, interacting with, or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the policies referenced here. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Access and Account

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

You may be required to provide details such as your name, email address, billing, payment, and shipping information. You agree that all information you provide will be true, accurate, current, and complete, and that you have all rights necessary to provide it.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not sell, transfer, or assign your account to any other person.

2. Business Information

Shreyasi is registered in India and the United States of America (Shreyasi LLC, Texas, USA).

At this time, most inventory is stored and shipped from India.

Our products include handloom sarees, blouses, and related accessories curated from across different regions of India.

Depending on the nature of the order, Shreyasi LLC (USA) or Shreyasi (India) may act as the contracting entity.

3. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including colours, designs, and details. However:

  • Colours and appearance may vary slightly due to device screens, lighting, and photography. These variations are not considered defects.

  • Minor irregularities or variations in weave are common in handloom and handcrafted products and are part of their character.

  • Measurements (length, width, blouse fabric length, etc.) are approximate and may differ slightly from piece to piece.

We may change or discontinue products at any time without notice and may limit quantities to any person, household, region, or jurisdiction.

4. Pricing, Currency, and Billing

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and/or US Dollars (USD).

Our saree prices remain the same irrespective of whether you are purchasing from India or abroad. We do not practice dual pricing.

Shipping charges, blouse stitching charges, and other add-ons are shown separately at checkout.

Currency conversion fees, if any, are determined by your bank or payment provider.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information and to promptly update your details so we can complete your transactions.

By placing an order, you represent that:

  • you are authorised to use the payment method provided

  • all charges incurred will be honoured by your payment provider

  • you will pay all applicable charges and taxes

Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion. Orders are considered accepted only after payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.

Please check your order details carefully before submitting. Our ability to cancel or modify an order after acceptance is limited. For details, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree that your purchases are for personal or household use and not for commercial resale.

We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of pricing errors, inventory issues, suspected fraud, or violations of these Terms.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Our Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of these Terms and sets out dispatch timelines, delivery estimates, and shipping charges.

Key points:

  • most inventory currently ships from India

  • shipping within India is free

  • international shipping (including the USA) is charged as shown at checkout

  • once the order is handed over to the courier, risk of loss passes to you to the extent permitted by applicable law

  • we are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, customs, or events outside our control

7. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

Returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Please read that policy carefully before placing an order, especially for customised, stitched, or preorder items.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, designs, and site layout, is owned by or licensed to Shreyasi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

“Shreyasi” and “Shreyasi LLC” are trademarks or service marks of Shreyasi. Shopify and other marks are trademarks of their respective owners.

9. Optional Tools and Third-Party Links

The Services may provide access to third-party tools or content. These are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties.

Your use of third-party tools or websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from such use.

10. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify. All sales and purchases are between you and Shreyasi, not Shopify.

You acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for orders, products, payments, deliveries, or disputes, and you release Shopify from any claims arising from transactions with Shreyasi.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected. Certain data may also be processed according to Shopify’s privacy policy.

12. Feedback and Reviews

If you submit reviews, testimonials, photos, or feedback, you grant Shreyasi a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such content for legitimate business purposes.

You represent that you own or control all rights to any feedback submitted.

Information on the Services may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders if information is inaccurate, including after an order has been submitted.

The Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, except as expressly stated.

Some jurisdictions may limit warranty exclusions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shreyasi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shreyasi and its affiliates from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

19. Governing Law

  • Orders fulfilled and shipped from India are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana.

  • Orders billed in USD or shipped to the United States are governed by applicable US consumer and e-commerce laws, with jurisdiction in the State of Texas, to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
